  1. Be present and committed to what you are doing in the moment. For instance, put all of your energy into the workout you are doing right now.
  2. Plan when you are going to check your progress. Instead of looking every day (or multiple times a day), wait a week—or 4!—and then check in. If you aren’t getting the results you expected, you can then troubleshoot, or decide on a different plan.
  3. Make decisions quickly. Once you make a firm decision, don’t waste a lot of energy debating the path not chosen. Move forward with confidence.

No decision is ever final. It just leads you to another decision.

Firmly commit to each healthy decision and you will dramatically increase your weight-loss success.
