What makes you different
Do you ever catch yourself disappointed in, grumbling, or complaining about your body?

By comparison, how much time do you spend thinking about all the wonderful ways that your body supports you? How beautiful it is? What it enables you to do?

What do you focus on more?

If you are like the majority of women who are stuck in the rebound weight-gain cycle, you spend WAY more time thinking about what you don’t like.

This is often because you are judging your body through the eyes of others.

And I’m going to be totally honest here.

My level of criticism of my body has increased over the past couple of months—since I stepped out big time with my business and new brand in December. And I’ve seen the impact on my body.

And I’m finally facing what is going on.

I’m worried about what you all think.

Why?

Because I’m not model thin. By magazine standards, my body is not perfect.

Ahh, that critical Gremlin that believes I’m not good enough has been subtly whispering in my ear.

So it doesn’t matter that I:

  • Have been able to maintain a size 6 for several years.
  • Have maintained my weight this long for the first time ever.
  • Feel better physically than I remember ever feeling.
  • Am stronger than ever—literally lifting more weight than I have before.
  • Feel healthier and my diet is cleaner than ever before.
  • Know I can rock a sexy black dress.
  • Feel attractive and sexy with my husband.
  • So appreciate my body and the relationship I have developed with it, and the wisdom I gain from it.
  • Have helped others release the weight, too.

There’s a part of me that feels like I’m not good enough.

Hi, I’m Hanna and I’m a recovering perfectionist.

So I’m just exposing it. The quickest way to overcome fear is to shine a bright light on it.

The truth is, there may be some people who judge me. The truth is, there may be people who think I should look like a fitness model in order to coach women around their weight.

So what?

I could look like a fitness model and some people would judge me for being too thin.

The truth is, I am not going to be the right coach for every woman.

The bottom line? Nobody else lives here. I have to be comfortable in my body. I have to love it and live with it and appreciate it.

And I SO can do that!

And for my ideal clients who have consistently struggled with their weight, the idea of maintaining a size 6 sounds like heaven.

  • No more closets full of every size under the sun.
  • No more wondering with the coming of a new season if you’re going to fit into your clothes.
  • No more shame at wearing shorts or tank tops.
  • No more feeling fat every time you get dressed.
  • No more feeling like you are missing out on fully living your life.
  • No more feeling like you have to starve and be deprived to love your body.

Those are the women I’m meant to serve.

So now you have it.

I am SO not perfect. AND I totally and completely love and accept myself—and my body.

I am fabulous and beautiful just the way I am.

And so are YOU!

No one else is with you in your mind. No one is forcing you to think or feel anything. If you are experiencing disappointment, frustration, or shame, it is because you are holding on to those thoughts.

Decide right now to face them and truly see them for what they are—the bogus messages we tell ourselves that keep us stuck.

Take a look at where your critical thoughts are coming from. How true are they? Are they really worth holding yourself back from the body—and life—you want? Are they keeping you from helping others, sharing fun with your family, or fully being you?

What would happen if you spent more time looking at your body through a positive lens?

Begin to allow those disappointments, frustrations, and irritations with your body to run through your mind like water running through your fingers.

Just let those thoughts and feelings go.

As soon as you do, you feel lighter emotionally. You feel relief. And that new lightness is positively impacting your body.

Do it because your body is worth it. Do it because life is worth it. Do it because YOU are worth it.

Together we can do it!
